Mona Lee Ray is a nonbinary, Filipinx-American storyteller and multidisciplinary artist whose work weaves together the raw edges of grunge and the ethereal threads of dreamscape. From abandoned spaces to the complexity of human desire and decay, their stories unfold in cinematic, visceral ways. With an early career in the entertainment industry spent co-directing and starring in hauntingly poetic music videos, and sculpting immersive stage worlds full of dancers, Mona has always embraced the tension between chaos and beauty.

Having taught Creative Storytelling at Stanford University and being ((( O )))’s movement coach—Mona is equally at home in front of the camera as behind it, creating art that transcends traditional mediums. Their work is a language unto itself, fusing visual, performance, and narrative art to capture forgotten places, fractured identities, and the strange magic that lingers in the spaces between. The result is a portfolio both grungy and dreamlike—haunting, yet impossible to forget.

Leaving the dance world behind to start a family, they are now focused on building their career in writing. They self-published their first book, Norah Wolfe Has Gone Insane, through KDP and Amazon, and has since developed their social media presence to 130k followers and counting on TikTok & Twitch, where they actively engage with their community through livestreams and helping others transform pain into powerful art and storytelling. They are currently querying their latest project, Rhythm & Ruin.
