Mona Lee Ray is a multi-disciplinary artist, published author, empowerment coach, & more.

Mona is a multi-disciplinary artist, LGBTQIA+ Filipinx creator, and prominent voice on SpiritualTok where she advocates for empowerment and bridging creativity with spirituality. Her artistic journey began in childhood, evolving into a dynamic career that spans various mediums, including film, photography, dance, painting, and writing. Mona’s early work, often reflecting a grunge-punk aesthetic, continues to influence her distinctive style across all her creative endeavors.

At the age of 17, Mona began her journey as a dancer, aspiring to direct music videos and big teams for stage art—which transformed into becoming bringing those teams onto other stages. She soon added motivational speaker to her répétiteur, particularly focused on empowering youth to follow their dreams and express themselves as a form of mental health hygiene. As a survivor of SA and bullying, she has become a dedicated mental health advocate, using her platform to uplift and inspire others, especially women. At the core of her advocacy is a belief in the transformative power of creativity—Mona encourages individuals to tap into their creative potential as a path to healing and self-expression.

Entirely self-taught, Mona’s expertise comes from a lifetime of curiosity, extensive reading, and hands-on practice. She has also learned under the guidance of her father, a certified Reiki healer and professional artist himself. Mona has shared her knowledge at institutions like Stanford University and collaborated with notable artists such as ((( O ))) in movement art training. She specializes in teaching the intrinsic link between spirituality and creativity, advocating for the powerful connection between the two.

In recent years, Mona has successfully merged her art practice with her Tarot reading abilities, deepening her connection with her audience on a storytelling basis, leading her to a more fulfilling career as a business owner. As part of her wellness initiatives, she crafts custom malas and crystal-based jewelry, intuitively designed to meet her clients’ needs. Her offerings also include intuitive tattoos and paintings, with creativity playing a central role in both her personal and professional life.

In 2023, she launched a Discord community that quickly grew into a vibrant, inclusive space, welcoming individuals from diverse backgrounds. This community reflects her commitment to fostering connection and providing a platform for shared creativity across all mediums.

Mona’s ambitions extend into writing, with plans to publish fiction novels and one day become a well-known author and screenwriter. Her long-term vision includes establishing creative hubs across the country to work the back end, providing at-risk youth with a safe space to explore their artistic voice and use art as a vehicle for personal transformation while simultaneously writing & publishing stories that could one day meet the big screen!

When Mona isn’t working, she’s homeschooling her kids, and chillin’ with her fur babies (2 cats, Apolaki & Mayari, & 2 dogs, Artemis & Yuffie), playing video games on her PC, and embracing the Hermit life.
